Soy Garlic Chicken

This Garlic Soy Chicken proves how a simple Asian inspired glaze can turn simple chicken thighs into delicious, super flavorful, tender chicken thighs that will make your meal extra tasty!
 
                    Ingredients
- 
                
4 pcs Chicken Leg & Thigh Fillet 
- Salt & Pepper 
- 
                4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced 
- 
                1 pc medium sized onion, grated 
- 4 tbsp sake 
- 2 tbsp mirin 
- 3 tbsp soy sauce 
- Olive oil for pan-frying 
Directions
- Season 4 chicken thigh fillets with salt and pepper. 
- Mix the marinade: cloves of garlic, grated onion, sake, mirin, soy sauce. 
- Marinade for 30 minutes 
- Strain your chicken from the marinade but leave the marinade aside. 
- Heat your oil in a pan, then pan-fry your chicken skin side down first. Once the skin is nicely brown, flip and cook the other side for about 7-10 minutes. 
- Once the chicken is cooked through, remove the oil and then add your marinade into the pan. Let the marinade simmer in a medium low heat. While its simmering, use a spoon and coat the top of the chicken with the sauce.
